There's no way the Giants made the Super Bowl twice. Wow. Carolina made the Super Bowl twice. Crazy. Minnesota made the Super Bowl once. OK, well, at least, you know, and Green Bay made the Super Bowl once. All right. Did the commanders make it? They did not make the Super Bowl. Not one.

Well, Russell Wilson and your Pittsburgh Steelers made it. Yeah. One Super Bowl, one Super Bowl in that game. Guess what? Did they win it? They lost. They lost to the Cowboys on a last second. Oh, no, it's true. It was like a long touchdown pass. The Brandon Cooks to win the game. No, actually, it was the one that had the most highlights, because, you know, when they do the simulations, they sometimes just gloss through it. But Dallas played Buffalo six times. Wow. Of the 32 times, six of them were Dallas versus Buffalo. And there were only five other games that played twice. Dallas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, Dallas, Baltimore and San Francisco, Cincinnati.

30:51 Chris So going back to this Buffalo pick of yours. Yes. OK. So we're all familiar with the late 80s, early 90s, you know, for Super Bowl, you know, losses. Right. Losses. Right. Is this the third or fourth year that Buffalo has been picked by a lot of, you know, NFL sports writers to go to the Super Bowl?

31:21 Chris Yeah. So basically, what's happening is they're taking it. They're actually going downhill because for a while it was like, they're going to make the Super Bowl every year.

31:30 Steve Now it's like, well, remember, they made the Super Bowl. The year before that was the first time they made the playoffs in like 20 some years. Right. Right. Frank Reich was a backup. Right. And I think that's what's going to happen with the Bengals. I think the Bengals, I think they peaked last year, to be honest with you. That's why I don't have them in the championship game, because I think they peaked last year and they're starting to come back down. Yeah. That's spoken like a true AFC North. Hey, the only other thing with that simulation, they also showed all the playoff teams, the Steelers made the playoff nine times out of the 32 simulations and 32 seasons, that for only four of the nine times they were in the playoffs, did they win a game? And like I said, they only made it to one Super Bowl and they actually had them winning the division once. The Steelers. But in the year they won the division, they lost their first playoff game.

32:24 Marc OK, well, you know, I. That means what they were like a 37% chance of winning a play of making the playoffs, right?

32:34 Chris No, less than that. It's like 27, 27%, somewhere around there. All right. So we're getting in the weeds here. Let's say answer some questions. Which I think is about right. Richard wanted to know what what record we think the Steelers will have. That was last week's show. I actually happen to have that right here in front of me. Oh, yeah, I remember. We won't go down the whole list. But basically, Mark has them at nine and eight. Steve has them at 10 and seven. I have them at nine and eight. Some of the highlights here is I think I have them beating the Ravens twice. Yep. Last game of the season. Let's see, Steve, you have them rattling off four wins in a row between Arizona and the Bengals. Right. And I think you do. Do you have them beating the Bengals twice? No, you know, splitting, splitting, splitting with the bang. Right. Beating the Browns. Right. Right. Schwabers kind of all over the map. He does give them a three game win streak between Arizona, the Pats and Indy, although he does have them. And he has them losing to the Bengals twice. I have them losing to the I think I have them splitting with the Bengals. Yeah, I have them splitting with the Bengals. But nine and eight, two, nine and eight and one, 10 and seven. I call that even. I mean, you know, I and as far as making the playoffs, I just think it's going to be tough. You know, you got if Lamar Jackson stays healthy, he's got something to prove. Obviously, you got Joe Burrow. The Cleveland Browns are a dumpster fire. I don't care what anybody says about the Sean Watson. I mean, he's a he's a complete jag anyway. But look, the guy didn't play football basically most of last year. He was mired in legal battles. I see a career to me that's over. I mean, it's just over. And maybe he shows some, you know, some signs, but forget it. But I just don't think the Steelers make the playoffs this year. I don't think that's going to happen.

But unfortunately, I just think that that the division they're in minus the Browns, I think the Ravens and the Bengals right now are playing some of the best ball in the AOC. And I know we play the Ravens tough, which is why I have them splitting with them. But and the same with the Bengals, but that could go south pretty easily. You know? Yes. Yeah. And I don't know. I just don't I just don't like the way this team is playing right now. But I think next year I'll have a different viewpoint

35:14 Chris because I think they're going to be together for three years at that. Yeah, that that's that. Well, and that's the reason that you look at the Bengals and the Ravens. I mean, they basically been together.

35:22 Steve I mean, you've got you've got you're putting the pieces together now. They've had much higher draft picks, too. So I think their talent level is just higher for that reason. Right. You know, the last time the Steelers had a top five pick ever. The last time was a long time ago. You know, Mark, I don't know. 1970, Gary Bradshaw. Yeah, top five pick. Yeah, that was the last time. So, I mean, it's just about talent level. Unfortunately, the Steelers do a good job of getting what is out of their players, but they just don't have a lot of a lot of talent, although how many number one picks they have on defense, but they got him through attrition. You know, he had the trade for him.

36:06 Steve I mean, it adds it adds more depth. And that's really that's all you need. I mean, that James Pierre, much better than him. So, yeah, anytime your weak link is a little less weak, he's still not great, but he's better than James Pierre. So why not go and do that?

36:24 Chris Yeah, I agree. And and and coming out in the first game, this is my concern in the first game against the 49ers is that, you know, even though it doesn't look like Bose is going to be playing,

And I think it's you know, there's there's a couple factors that play in their favor. One is where you were the only one. Yeah. One is if Joey Bosa doesn't play, which seems more likely than not.

And we all saw what happened to Brock Purdy against a healthy Hassan Reddick, right? Yeah. Which basically means if you know, and the Steelers will get people in his face. Oh, yeah. And probably first game back, people in your face. Yeah, a little nervous. Yeah, I like I like the Steelers in this one to kind of if you want to call it, steal one, because I guess they're underdogs. But I think they're going to steal one with a surprise in the first in the first week. They could. They really could. I think they really will.

38:03 Steve Yeah. I mean, if you look at the 49ers, 49ers schedule, this is one where you're like, oh, man, that's a tough that's a tough opening act for for the 49ers. Yeah, because they're coming here. Yeah. Plus, yeah. On the road, the Steelers haven't played an opening game at home since 2014. Yeah, it's too long. Yeah.

38:23 Marc How late? Yeah. And that's the way it works. And plus, you know, I know you like the coach, Steve, but one thing that's that's my biggest concern. One thing with that coach, though, is they're very rarely ready for the start of the season. They always come out. They stumble. They stumble out of the gates and then they get caught midseason.

38:41 Steve Well, it's usually because they don't they didn't have a quarterback that was prepared and ready. I think I think Purdy this time, even though he wasn't 100 percent, he was there the whole time. And I think that helps. Like Garoppolo was that that way last year. They didn't know who was going to be in there. They thought maybe they were going to start their rookie, who turns out to be a bust. And they ended up trading him for like a third round pick. Right. And I think I just think they've they're they're more secure this year than they ever have been. They got a great running back. I mean, the way Steelers can win that game is by stopping CMC. If they can stop CMC and San Francisco becomes one dimensional. I agree with you. I think the Steelers have a great.

39:23 Marc I think they I also think with the 49ers, I I also think that's a team that thinks they're better than they actually are. Not that they're not a good team, like the Padres in baseball. That's exactly what you're talking about. Exactly. Like, for example, like when you lose, you know, in the championship game and like all you can say, like the entire offseason is, you know, we were the better team. Our quarterback just got hurt. Like nobody takes accountability that you weren't good enough to win the game. Well, they actually just think that they're that good.

39:57 Steve Believe it or not. I think that's a bad thing. Believe it or not. That's probably actually true. Not to say they would have beaten Philadelphia with a good quarterback, because I don't think they would have. But they would have been they would have been more competitive.

40:10 Steve And then they would have been saying, all we have to do is work a little bit harder. And then now we'll be in the Super Bowl. Well, the Steelers are just saying we need to be better to just make the playoffs. That's two teams in two totally error areas. You know, San Francisco is up here and Pittsburgh is down here somewhere in their evolution of their team.

And, you know, the defense has been pretty good, you know, the last couple of years. So you got to get the sauce. You get that Quentin Williams, Quentin Williams, right? You know, who's a beast. I mean, honestly, I look, look at how they did last year with that, you know, garbage quarterback they had. I mean, they they were almost 500. Zach Wilson. Luke's an actor. Were they like, were they like, you know, were they like seven and ten or eight and nine with, you know, that guy? Yeah, I mean, they beat the Steelers. The Jets were seven and ten last year. Seven and ten. You put Aaron Rodgers in for what's his name again? Zach Wilson. For Zach Wilson. For Zach Wilson, you know, you don't think that could swing it a couple of games?

Now Travis Etienne who we ended up picking or waiting three weeks for Alvin Kamara, the bottom line is like. An aging Alvin Kamara. Yeah, I mean look, like what? Like I mean Travis Etienne can probably hold his own with half the running backs in the league. But most of the tight ends aren't going to put up
