The Porch Is Live - Did the Steelers Save Their Season?

Did Canada save his job? Is Najee done being the feature? How good is Austin? Did Pickett progress? Will they beat the Texans? And... Hockey Jesus is getting ready for his return. Hop up on the porch!

The hosts begin the podcast by joking about having a fire on the porch and expressing gratitude for their listeners. They mention the different platforms where the podcast can be found and introduce their new radio station, Radio PGH. They also celebrate the technical director's birthday and mention a gift from another host who is absent from the show. The hosts then transition into discussing the recent Steelers game and criticize the team's offense. They believe that the coaching staff, specifically Matt Canada, is not performing well and should be held accountable. They cite the team's poor performance in games where the quarterback throws for over 250 yards as evidence of the offense's struggles. Despite a late touchdown, they do not believe it changes anything in terms of Canada's job security.

01:09 Steve Stop, stop the presses. Stop the presses. We've got a happy birthday right here. The big technical director is way too old to have his second cupcake, but there you go, my friend.

01:24 Steve Happy birthday to Chris.

01:27 Steve Happy birthday to the technical director. Happy birthday, everybody. Jump on in in those comments.

01:36 Chris Happy birthday to Chris. You, if you could, if you only knew what I was wishing for right now.

01:42 Steve Oh, well, I can't offer that. There's some things I can't provide, but I can provide a cupcake. And a good one too. That's our giant Eagle, nothing but the best. It's the high end ones. We don't get the mini ones, you know, that are produced elsewhere. These are right from your giant Eagle. right here in Pittsburgh. Um, and let's just get right in there.

02:08 Chris I wanted to get this DG's in the house. He was watching our show on Philly earlier. Thank you DG for sticking with us and thank you for the happy birthday. I'm going to eat this cupcake after the show.

02:17 Steve Mark birthday's gift to Chris is not to be here and it's, it's the best gift you can possibly get ever. Yeah. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that.

02:27 Chris It's not like you want to really hang out with a smart ass. Well, you know, maybe he'll make an appearance. Maybe that was my wish. Now we got comments coming in like crazy right now.

02:39 Steve Let's go right into it. Cause we got a lot to cover here.

02:41 Chris In the description of the show. I said, did Canada save his job? And Chris Nicholas says it did not change anything. Canada needs to go. There's a hot take. Phil chimes in not as long as Trudeau is running the show. That's it Phil.

02:56 Steve Phil's getting right into it.

02:58 Chris So yeah. Let's get into it. And again, stream us live on Radio PGH. Go to radiopgh.com. Click the Radio PGH is here and you can listen to us live on the radio if you're in your car.

03:10 Steve And don't forget to send your birthday wishes to the birthday boy.

03:12 Chris And you don't have to do that, please. I am very uncomfortable with people talking about my birthday. I am, I just am. No talking, just typing. I don't want to talk about my birthday at all. Let's talk about the Steelers. Okay, so what was the final score last night? It was 23-18. That's right. So,

03:36 Steve And it was 20, it was seven, nothing at one time, 23, seven at one time. And then, you know, it got a little interesting at the end. Like, you know, we like to make it.

03:45 Chris So look, we were texting during the game. And what was funny was my timely text where I said, you know, I sent a text that said something like this, this offense is absolutely, uh, pathetic. Hold on, hold on a second here. I'm going to get to the text because normally we don't read texts on the air.

04:06 Steve No, this was a classic. The timing couldn't have been better. Yeah. It actually was like, this offense is pathetic. It's the worst show ever. It's even worse than the Washington command. Yes. Yes. And, and then immediately what happens, right? I think it was that 72 yard bomb.

04:23 Chris So I sent a text. I said, this is terrible. This offense is 100% bad. And I watched the Redskins for years, just as bad. I know what I'm talking about doomed to this. If they don't change entire coaching staff. And I was talking about Tom, you were every, you were all over it and they won't. And as soon as I hit send pick, it hits Austin, that 70 yard touchdown pass. And I said, that pass doesn't change any. Um, so, you know, did Steve, did Matt Canada save his job?

04:53 Steve Well, let's talk about Matt Canada's job. Matt Canada's job is to do whatever Mike Tomlin wants him to do. You always go there, but I'm just telling you the truth, right? Like it doesn't matter if he goes for 400, 500, 200, 100 yards, if they win the game. And especially if the defense wins the game, Mike Tomlin is happy and will always keep Matt Canada around. I keep trying to push this point, and I said this earlier, and I don't think I said it here because I was at the game last Monday, but when the Steelers quarterbacks throw for over 250 yards, the Steelers are 2-9. They just are not, they're not the team that wants to throw the ball all the time and score like the Dolphins do when they get 70 points.

05:42 Chris That's not their offense. That's not their identity.

05:46 Steve And that's the frustrations I think that Tomlin does have with the offense because they aren't able to run the ball. And analyzing it last night, I kind of came to an epiphany. And I think you came to this last year actually. And that is nausea. Najee's problem isn't with contact. It's not that he doesn't know how to run the ball. It's they don't know how to hand the ball off. I noticed last night, more last night than ever, that when they hand the ball off to Warren, Warren's already running forward and he's grabbing the ball from Kenny. Like Kenny has to go backwards five yards and then give the ball to Najee who's standing there waiting to be given the ball. Right. And there's like, uh, even a half a second is too long for that to happen. He needs to be into the line in less than a second. And he's not into the line until a second and a half goes off. Right. And that's the problem with the damn run game. And honestly, I think that's a problem with nausea or it's a problem with coaching. They're not coaching him. They're not saying nausea, just run and grab the ball instead. It's that it's almost like it's a draw play every time they do it. And then what happens is Najee doesn't go straight forward. He does a stutter step to the right or to the left. And then he tries to go forward. And then by that time there are three people all over him. So I think that's the problem with the run game. And I don't honestly, you know, they were talking about blocking schemes. Dude, we're on the porch. We're just guys. We don't know shit about blocking schemes and zones and man to man and all that crap. But you know, when you can see that guys aren't being blocked, And you can see when Jaylen Warren sees the hole, he hits it and he's going up in there. In nausea, you never see that. And I think therein lies the problem. So I think you're right. I think we've seen the last of nausea as a featureback. I don't think you'll see him get more than 10 or 12 touches anymore, probably for the rest of his Steeler career. I think it's going to be a split backfield, 60-40 at the most, and I think that will help the backfield tremendously.

07:59 Chris I hear what you're saying about how they hand the ball off.

08:01 Steve I noticed I did sidestep the question about Canada. Right. And the reason I do is because anybody who wants to talk about Matt Canada getting fired can go F themselves because here's why it's never going to happen.

08:17 Chris Can we quote you on that? Yes. To go F themselves part of it.

08:19 Steve Because it's never going to happen, dude. Like, like Mike Tomlin will get fired before, Canada will, and you know when Mike Tomlin is going to get fired? Never. Never. He will retire before he gets fired. This is just the way the Steeler way is. And I know that we have a lot of Steelers fans out there who really want to bash Canada, and there are plenty of things to bash Canada about. I'll get into those. And I actually think the problem in the first half for the Steelers was they wanted to keep Kenny in the pocket. Kenny is not comfortable in the pocket. Even though the pocket I think is still there, I think the offensive line is doing an okay job, but if one guy gets his mitt close to Kenny, he's the hell out of there. He's like, no, hell no, I'm not getting hit by that guy. And he's starting to run, and then when he runs, all the blocking schemes break down, because then they can chase him down, and then the offensive linemen don't know where he is. that's the problem with the Steelers. Now I do credit Canada for making the changes where it looked like, it looked like he had some schemes where they not only were doing some play action, but it was also a play action and Kenny was rolling out. So then he had the option of being able to run the ball or pass the ball. And he seems to do really well with passing the ball in the run.

09:44 Chris So that was his Forte at Pitt, his last year at Pitt.

09:47 Steve That's how he made his bones. I think they're doing a better job of finding different schemes, but I have to hold a lot back because, dude, this was the Raiders. That defense is terrible. They're awful. Yes. And I don't think they're going to be able to do that against anybody else except for maybe Houston.

10:05 Chris Now, and we'll talk about that later. Todd Ross wants to know who would win a race between Najee and Jalen.

10:11 Steve Well, how many seconds head start are you giving Najee? Yeah. I mean, I think that answers your question.

10:18 Chris Yeah. And, and that's, that's really the, the, the, the only problem with Jalen Warren is his size. It's also an advantage, but he's not the kind of back that can take the beating that, that, that the guy like nausea can take, but it is remarkable. And I'm not saying anything that anybody doesn't already know. It is remarkable. The difference. the, in that offense, when he is in the game and I, it's really, it's really hard to watch when nausea is in there. Daniel Rupert's back with us. Canada should be fired, but sadly won't be hard to overcome. Right. And you know what, Steve, I'm with you. I understand. Trust me to steal your way.

11:04 Steve I mean either you believe in the Steeler way or you don't and it's okay to say you don't because there are some things about the Steeler way in today's game in 2023 that don't make sense. Just like when Chuck Newell was running the offense in the 1980s and they didn't even run the freaking shotgun. He wouldn't run the shotgun. I know like you have to change with times, right? And I don't know if Tomlin is going to either retire or he's going to change with times. I actually think he'll retire before he changes because I truly believe that he thinks the defense is so good that it can always bail out the offense. And I, that absolutely is true with crappy teams like the team we played last night and it'll probably be okay against teams like Houston. Although CJ Stroud is a, is a quarterback. They won their game. He's a quarterback. They're going to have to figure out that could be a problem.

11:55 Chris Not a lot of tape on him in the NFL yet. Right. DG says, I still think that Canada is not good. His calls are predictable and far from the innovation that we were promised. I don't see any big adjustments being made.

12:06 Steve Yeah. He's right. I mean, David's right. Uh, Canada's offense is very simplistic. I mean, look, the first series, you had to have been screaming at your television. It was like a carbon copy of the last two first series. Yeah. run, run. And then the third, the third and two is fine. Right? Third and two is fine, but not on a fricking jet sweep. The Hayward. Are you kidding me? Like, like anything else, but that, I mean, Hayward's one, not a running back to not a tight end. I don't even know what he is. He just kind of plays a position that builds up his body. He's a body, but you're giving it to him on third down after you had two pretty good running plays. That's just crazy, and that's what drives me crazy about his offense. He'll do that all the time, but I did see some changes in the offense in the second half that give me a slimmer of hope, but I don't know. I think this is just the offense we're gonna get.

13:07 Chris I want to know if it is a slimmer of hope or a glimmer of hope.

13:11 Steve Well, it is a glimmer of hope unless you say slimmer, then it's a slimmer of hope.

13:17 Chris That means less slimmer. That means less glimmer. Slimmer is less than a glimmer.

13:23 Steve How about glimmer? I got it now. How about glimmer? Yeah, we'll just slap it all together.

13:28 Chris That sounds like a fish.

13:29 Steve Hey, we make up words here on the porch and we're not, and we're not afraid of it.

13:33 Chris We're not afraid of it. We're not afraid of new words. Uh, Peter says simple plays equals playing faster. At least that's the idea. I like going man blocking on runs last night. Can we get some pulling guard?

13:43 Steve You know, that's something I don't see either. Well, see, Peter's really getting into the weeds of it all. And honestly, we're not offensive coordinators. We don't know what that is, but I agree with you. It would be to see some nice, as they say, horizontal movement in the line as opposed to vertical movement. So that, you know, maybe you can, a guy's coming in and thinking he's going to make a block and you're just crashing him in. You know what I would think, Peter? I think having Broderick Jones in the lineup would help a lot because he's a big body and he can move more than one body around. And he can probably pull. You could probably put him in the position you got a tight end in. Just bring him in as the tight end.

14:22 Chris I was going to say, they could put him in at wide receiver at this point.

14:25 Steve I mean, put him in Washington on either end and then just beat the shit out of people.

14:29 Chris Did you see Washington last night at all?

14:32 Steve in a little bit, but he, I hadn't seen him much. Yeah. He plays like all the other rookies play very sparing.

14:39 Chris I think that's, and I do think that's the other way.

14:41 Steve And that is something that I absolutely a hundred percent think needs to change.

14:45 Chris I know. And I'm, I'm with you. I'm with you there.

14:47 Steve When Joey Porter jr. Was in there, you know, Devante Adams was an absolute beast last night. How do you, how do you killed me in fantasy? Thank you, ducky. Yeah. 44 points against. Yeah. Other than that, I mean, when Joey Porter Jr. was on him, at least it looked like somebody had a chance. Otherwise, he was open. You know he was going to catch the ball every time. And, you know, on those three yards and outs on, you know, third and two, nobody can stop that.

15:12 Chris Not even, not even Sascar. No, no, he's a pro. He's a consummate pro. He knows what he's doing and his moves are incredible. Garoppolo made the Steelers D look better last night. Levi Wallace, what, two picks? Yeah, and he didn't even look good in the first half at all. I know, and Peterson gets a pick. Well, and as fate would have it, we have a team coming in that's in a rebuilding phase, or it's in Houston, right? I think it is in Houston. You want to check that out? Yeah, I'll check it out. So yeah. So here's the thing that the big question was, did Canada save his job? And I think the overwhelming answer here is he was never in danger of losing his job. And that's kind of where we are as Steelers fans. We're just going to have to accept that because of the things that, that you've talked about in the Steeler way. And I don't think,

16:13 Steve They're in Houston.

16:14 Chris Okay. I don't think very many people disagree with you. And I think that's the bigger source of frustration for us is that, you know, dammit, we know. That can it is not going to lose his job. Although I did see some sort of Weird internet rumor thing that said that maybe rooney would step in and fire him.

16:34 Steve Yeah, I saw that clickbait, too I didn't give anything. I didn't give any uh, uh, I gave my clicks to that article and I wish I took it back because it was it was just pure garbage Yeah, and and here you go.

16:45 Chris This has got to be schwab because he's on his philadelphia beautiful It's got to be I didn't realize how bad jimmy g is shows what playing for the 49ers Patriots does for you. Definitely an Eagles fan.

16:57 Steve He's had to throw in that 49ers, the 41 or so. Well, I think, you know, I think what maybe we're also learning about this offense is it wasn't ready for top notch defenses. No, not at all. You know, it's still not, it still isn't. I agree with you, but I don't know that they will be all year if they can't get the running schemes figured out because that's what they're predicated on. They got to run, run, and then, you know, not have the weighty downs behind them as, as Tomlin likes to say. And when they don't, then they can get the first downs because they don't have to throw it very far. But dude, how about this? Last year, remember how we were like, they have no splash plays, no splash plays? Two weeks in a row, I mean, 70-yard touchdown passes. I don't know if that's a fluke or if that's something that they've actually figured out. I can't, I'm not sure. I need you to help me out on that.

17:51 Chris I hate to say it, but I think it's a fluke.

17:53 Steve You think it's just a blown coverage and then the speed of pickings and Calvin Austin the third get up in the field?

17:59 Chris I think the play that Austin scored on last night was a great play and it was it was good timing because they had two high safeties and he split it right up the middle and his speed put them in a position to do that. So that one I don't think was a fluke. The catch and run by Pickens, the game before, that was an in pattern over the middle that he took in stride and took it to the house. So, I mean, that was a good play. So I don't know that you could say they were or they weren't flukes, but what I can tell you is at this point right now, if they don't get the blocking schemes better, They don't plan for a better running game. They don't start using Friar Mooth over the middle and soften up those linebackers. It's not going to be the norm that they get those plays. I want to get a couple comments in here. Daniel Rupert, he's so right. Thank God Josh doesn't understand math. I'm a Vegas head coach. I'd go for a TD out of a hundred times. If you're going to die, die with your boots on. Right. That blew my mind that he, it's like, why are you kicking a field goal?

19:10 Steve Well, what blew my mind even further was they were going to kick the field goal. And then it was like, Oh, Steelers, they messed up. And then they gave him another chance at it. And then the Steelers defense said, no, you're not getting in the And so that's right. And then they were what? They were 15 yards closer. Cause that was like a 15 yard penalty that leverage, you know, we could talk about was a dumb call. Yeah. I mean, but I guess, you know, you got to have either your hands up. Cause if they're down, they assume that you're pushing off with somebody and that's it. The, the, the linesman is actually looking for that, which is crazy, but I guess they gotta be doing something bad.

19:45 Chris Like that guy could jump up in the air.

19:48 Steve Well, no, he can't. And that's why you're not allowed to press off with somebody.

19:51 Steve But even that guy, that guy's like 325 pounds.

19:55 Chris How much higher is he going to get? A half inch?

19:57 Steve Right. No, but so, so then, you know, then they're like, okay, well, you know, they're on the eight yard line or something like that. And he's like, they wasted 40 some seconds and then they decide to kick it then again. And I'm like, that's great for the sealers.

20:10 Chris That actually worked out better. It did. And it's classic Josh McDaniel. He's great. He's a terrible, he's a terrible head coach. DG agrees with the candidate thing. He didn't do anything to save his job, but unless Khan shocks us all, he'll be here through the season. Todd Ross says Austin is a hell of a player. We're going to talk about that in a minute. DG one more time. Fluke or not, we can't rely on that to happen because it seems they don't really plan for it. How many other 2TD performances from Pickett? We're going to talk about that. Well, one in his career so far. What do you think about the Fitzpatrick roughing the passer call?

20:44 Steve Oh, I'd love to talk about that.

20:45 Steve I'd like you to talk about it first because I know how you love those roughing the passer calls.

20:49 Chris I think they're ridiculous. Yeah. And I think that call on him was ridiculous. And the announcers even said it. It's more intended for you're leading with your helmet, you're hitting him up. He started by hitting on his shoulder pad and it came up into his helmet. But the thing about it is the only thing that I can say is that i can see it was scripted right yes it was scripted definitely i i can see it from the referee's point of view and that it's a bang bang play yeah and so can i but here's the only exception i have that that is how many time did kenny get hit in the head

21:28 Steve Right. Two, three times, maybe.

21:30 Steve Yeah. None of them were called.

21:31 Steve Yeah. And it was because the Steelers were ahead. And that just goes to show you like the NFL wants to keep these games close. And that drives me crazy. You know how I rally against that in hockey, unless it's like situational situational offense, you know, situational penalties. Oh, well, that team's behind by two scores. Yeah. I think we should give him a 15-yard penalty there because it was a bang-bang play and it looked like he hit him in the head.

21:57 Chris It does seem to me, and it has, you know, watching football as long as we've watched it, it does seem to me, and it has for a long time, that a lot of these calls do come at like just the right time. Yeah. You know, so

22:13 Steve I mean, I think they do want to keep interest in the game. They don't want people clicking off, you know, they want to keep the eyeballs on the screen. And that does make sense to some level, but at some point you have to, you have to say, do it both ways.

22:26 Chris You know, that's the thing.

22:28 Steve And the fairness factors, you know, well, Once you start getting in the fairness factor, you might as well throw it out. We might as well not even watch football. Yeah, you're right. You're right. And I have to watch football. And I have to. It's the only way to stay sane. But once you start bringing in justice and fairness in the football, I think this show is going to be done.

22:45 Chris That's another show, Steve. That's a different show.

22:47 Steve No, but Chris brings a good point about nausea, looking slower and not as agile. I don't think, I don't think nausea ever was agile, but I think he definitely is slower. And I think he's slower once again, because he's not running to the line. He's getting the ball, watch the replay. If you have a chance to take 45 minutes and watch the replay, I promise you, what do you have, like 14 rushes? I bet you 10 of them, he's getting the ball while he's in the stationary position and not going forward. And that's the problem. The other thing I think you should look at, if you do watch it again, is watch how Pickett gets really squirrelly in the pocket when it looks like it's closing in on it. And then watch Garoppolo stay in that pocket no matter what. And even when the pocket totally collapses on him, he's still staying in the pocket and he's gonna throw it. Now he made some bad choices when he threw the ball. And he definitely forced it into some bad situations. The one thing I did like about Kenny was he was he was throwing more 50 50 balls Which I think is good for him. I think he needs to do that more often and I think they made good Play calling when they knew they could get the field goal not to get them out of field goal range I know that's kind of scared offensive but where they are now.

24:05 Chris Yeah. I'll take the frick. You gotta, you gotta take the points. Yeah. You gotta take the points. Peter Fox says affairs is a place where they judge pigs. Okay. Wilbur. I have no comment on that. Um, yeah. So I've been saying this for the last year and a half. Um, Oh, wait a minute. DG. Uh, that was a bad call on Fitzpatrick. Warren actually was fine. Something like 40 K for lowering his head during last week's game. Ridiculous. Yeah. Right. So, um, you know, I, I want them to get Austin in the game more.

24:36 Steve Well, they have to until Deontay comes back. He'll be, he'll be more involved, which I think is good.

24:41 Chris Yeah. And, and a PB says, did you guys see the one play yesterday? We're picking sort of lollygag that out of bounds, right? Instead of turning it back up the middle to go for the TD, I must've been getting another beer. I did say, I did see that I also it actually I also saw these are the little things though ice the penalty For pre snap motion on him. He wasn't set near the end of the game. I thought that was a bullshit It was not a bullshit call. I know I know his strap. These are the boys moving his feet I get it. This is the discipline that you need to win football games. I And I think that I think a guy like George Pickens is he is still he is not a superstar. We treat him like he's a superstar in Pittsburgh. He's not. But he is not a superstar. His name is not Tyreek Hill. And he has a lot to prove before he gets there. And the only way he's going to get there. Why is Tyreek Hill so good? Not just because he's one of the fastest. Well, yeah, he's got great hands. He's got discipline. He always gets open. He's got discipline. And if you're letting guys go to the line of scrimmage and you're not teaching them that, look, have your have your chin strap on, have your fricking shoes tied. You know, it's like a toddler. Well, your pre-snap penalties kill drives. He's got a better quarterback, too. Yeah. Well, yeah.

26:00 Steve Well, I mean, think about Tyree Kell went from Patrick Mahone's Attua.

26:05 Chris Yeah, I know. He's he's actually hit the lottery. Yeah. But I think you understand my point. No, no, and I agree with your point. And it is my birthday, so you're supposed to agree.

26:14 Steve Well, no, I do actually agree with you on this point. It was a penalty. I just didn't like the ticky tackiness of the penalty call at the time because it didn't, it was just like that holding penalty against somebody when Calvin Austin III had a good return. Right. It was nowhere near the play in it. And when they showed the replay that right before they went to the break, it didn't even look like he was holding him. Right. Right. Look, that happens all the time. One other thing we absolutely have to talk about is what is going on right before the half. The Steelers had two timeouts, right? They had. arguably 25 seconds to play with. They get the ball on the 20. Why not try a 15 yard play to see if you can get out to the 35 on the first play? No confidence. Instead, they just run the ball six yards and that's it. Let's go. And I know they were winning, but in a game where you're going to be playing against better teams like the Bills and the Chiefs and probably the Ravens, right? You're going to want to get, you want to want to try and get points or at least make an effort to do that because you get to the 35, you call a timeout, you do another couple of plays like that, you might be able to kick a long field goal. And it just drives me crazy how, how. they think that their defense can always bail them out and their offense is never thinking about going for the jugular.

27:36 Chris Well, and you know what that is? That's the Tomlin is famous for being terrible at clock management. So they have no confidence that their offense can pick up chunks of yardage in a quick time frame.

27:49 Steve That's it. I think that's it.

27:50 Chris And he has no idea how to manage his timeouts. Because if you think about it, you get down to that point at the end of the half, and you already used a timeout. If you had had three timeouts, maybe, if Tomlin had three timeouts, maybe he would have tried something. But if he has less than three timeouts, you don't think so.

28:08 Steve I don't think he would have at all. I think you hit the nail on the head. I think he's just deathly afraid of a 15-yard pass from Kenny Pickett. He totally believes that the offense is inept and just can't move the ball quickly, and just said, eh, we're winning. Let's just go into the locker room. That's crazy. I think that's what they need to work on. If they're going to work on anything, they need to instill some confidence in that offense when they go out there. Every time they go out there, say, hey, we're at least going to take a shot. If you can make this happen, then we're going to go for it. If you don't, okay, I get it. Run the ball, and then that's okay.

28:47 Chris They're not an aggressive team on offense right now.

28:50 Steve That's the problem. Now you're speaking my language. There you go. Because when they do, they're two and nine. That's right.

28:57 Chris That's true. Um, okay. So, you know, I want to get Friar Muth in there, uh, in the offense more. Absolutely. Well, I got a touchdown pass last night. Yeah. Which was good. Kenny had two, two touchdown passes in a game. First time in his career. Um, Warren needs to be featured more.

29:15 Steve Um, well, what do you think the splits between him and, uh, Najee?

29:20 Chris It's tough because we have so many issues on the offensive line right now. Uh, and the comment that we had earlier. Yeah, we do. Broderick Jones isn't playing. Well, that's the biggest, the biggest issue. But, but the comment we had that was made earlier about, can we pull some, some guards, you know, can, can they pull, You know what? I would have never thought about that except for the fact that he brought it up. Like, you're right. Like, every single running play, I'm not sure what the blocking scheme is other than push forward.

29:53 Steve Well, it's usually see the guy in front of you, knock him over.

29:56 Chris Right, right.

29:57 Steve Well, you have some… Well, they pick a number and he's like, OK, I'm going to go get the linebacker.

30:02 Chris I'm going to get this guy. It's like they're not trying to create holes. And I think if you pull the guard and you come across the formation, You know, maybe, and that could be a function of the fact that Nagé, for most of his career, is unable to find a hole even if it's there. You know, I don't know.

30:21 Steve Yeah, I agree with you. I mean, Nagé loves the contact so much. He'll just start, he'll run right into that pile full speed and it won't get him anywhere.

30:29 Chris Yeah, it's one.

30:30 Steve While Jaylen Warren will look for the seam and he'll try and fit through the same.

30:34 Chris That's right. You just answered your question. I think they need to feature him at least, to be honest with you, 70% of the time.

30:41 Steve So you think if they're going to run the ball, let's say 20 times. He needs to get 15 of them. Yeah.

30:47 Chris Yeah. Yep. That seems too much. It does. It does because of his size, you know, but, but his speed and his shiftiness and his ability to create something out of nothing. You know, and he, look, can we do it? Can we run a screen pass to Jalen Warren?

31:05 Steve Uh, no, please. No. I was watching a game. I was watching a game where they did a flea flicker screen pass. Nice. I think that maybe was the Baltimore game.

31:18 Chris Uh, yeah, no. Yeah. It was a check down. It was a check. And I'm like, no, it was the chiefs game. Oh, is that what it was? It wasn't a flea flicker. They, it was a cheese game. They threw it across the field back to my homes. And then my homes threw it to gray who then got injured. But yeah, it was, yeah, but it was, he, it was, he was the check down.

31:37 Steve That's what it was. It was a screen pass. I'm like all that motion for a screen pass, but they literally had like four offensive linemen out there.

31:44 Chris Well, they got nine yards to try the Steelers, try to run that.

31:47 Steve And there is a way too much motion for Canada's offense.

31:52 Chris Yeah, I don't, I don't think I listen. Yes, a good win yesterday. We could talk about the record two and one in first place in the division. Right. The Bengals look like crap.

32:04 Steve Well, hopefully they go to three and losing right now.

32:07 Chris Yes. So the Ravens lost. I said hopefully they're losing right now. I don't know that they are right. The Ravens lost to the Colts, as Todd says, the Ratbirds lost the cold.

32:18 Steve What a terrible loss for the Colts. Yeah. I mean, for the Ravens. Yeah. They came out and they look like they're going to set the world on fire. And then Lamar Jackson did Lamar Jackson thing.

32:28 Chris Well, I think it was more Minshew magic than anything.

32:31 Steve Well, maybe. And the fact that the hurricane wind kept that 62 yard field goal out of out of the that's true. I mean, how often does Justin Tucker Tucker hit? a field goal right on and it's short. Like I've never seen him be short ever. Yeah, I know. You know, well, and he's kicked longer than 62 yarder. Oh yeah.

32:52 Chris Oh yeah. Uh, well, you know, I, I don't think that, I mean, don't get me wrong.

32:56 Steve I love it. Even though I didn't take Baltimore, I love the fact that they lost to the Colts. That, that makes it better.

33:04 Chris I've got to get this comment from my mother in here. Happy birthday and joy. Thank you, mom. Thank you for the gift cards. Thank you for my life, to be honest with you. Although some days I do question that.

33:13 Steve I mean, that's the one person where you do have to thank for your life.

33:16 Chris Yeah, that is true. Well, there's two. It takes two to tango. But in this world. Yeah. Right. Right. Yeah. It's another show. So. So, OK. Steelers. You know what? After three games right now. Yeah. Can you say they're looking good?

33:32 Steve Um, I can, I think you can say we know who they are. They weren't the preseason Steelers, right? They're the old offensive Steelers. Then they really have never changed from who they were last year. I mean, they really haven't. I mean, I want to say they're more polished, but they're really not. No, they're predicated on good defense. And when defense breaks down, they're going to be in big trouble. Yeah. So, so you just have to hope that the defense never breaks down. And the problem is, well, I mean, so they're doing it without cam up the middle, which is good because they drafted for those positions. The other dude, Oaken, Joby, Benton, they all look good. They all look good up the middle. And I got to actually does look really good. The one in the one thing about having so many good draft picks is you see TJ on the sidelines. Now that means he's fresh in the fourth quarter. That's, that's a big advantage for the Steelers to have a fresh TJ watt out there. And if he can stay healthy, because He's constantly being, you know, taken in and out. I think, I think that's, I think that means good things for the Steelers. And now they got some linebackers. Clearly Alexander's got to be their best. Holcomb had, I think had a really good game too, but once again, I don't know how well they're going to do against the Kelsey's of the world, you know, and when you talk about the, the top notch of the AFC, I don't know what they're going to do against Andrews, to be honest with you. I know they have Lamar Jackson's number and this is a couple of weeks down the road, but I'm hoping that they're not looking past this week, thinking about Baltimore in two weeks, because then it would be a problem.

35:11 Chris Yeah. And, and speaking of problems there, they're going into Houston. Um, uh actually i want to go back last week i was really really down on kenny pickett and i said i don't think he's the answer i don't i don't think he is and but what i will say is that i do think that this week I saw what I would consider a little bit of progress from him. And what I mean by progress is not just, well, he threw another touchdown. He finally threw two in a game. I think it's terrible that it's taken him this long to throw two. I agree. What I mean is that when I was watching him play, I saw a little bit more of a sense of urgency and a little bit more focus on what was in front of him. Yeah. I do agree with you that he tends to bail on the pocket. A little quickly, but way too much. You don't know right now. And we'll know very soon. You don't know right now if it's because of more because of a, he doesn't trust his line to keep the pocket solid or B, he's just like, I got to get out of here. You know, it could be, it could be one or it's more one or the other. Yeah. Hopefully, it's the one where the line gets better, builds trust, and he says, aha, now I have a pocket.

36:29 Steve Yeah. I don't think he's finding the open receiver quickly enough. And I think that's part of the problem. But once again, I'm not looking at the tape where you can see, oh, yeah, there was definitely somebody open. I can tell you that when I was at the game last week, that looked to be the case, like there was somebody open. He just didn't see them or he couldn't he couldn't get through his progressions quickly enough to find the open receiver. And that just takes time. So I'm hopeful that he will get there, but I don't think he's there yet. And I'm not bailing on Kenny this year unless he gets heard. But I think it's really interesting to see his progress. And I just thought he would get there sooner this year.

37:12 Chris Right. I'm with you on that. And DG is calling me out here. You say that, Chris, but you're forgetting about the two or three passes that should have been a pick six. I at least one. Yeah, it's not that I'm forgetting about them. It's just that. And you're right, DG, you're right. It's more that. I tend to watch guys, um, in, in Kenny Pickett situation, I tend to watch their body language on the field, how they're playing. And, you know, because when you're a quarterback, it's all about decision-making and how fast can you make that decision, you know, stepping up in the pocket, finding the open receiver. In this particular game, I saw him playing more like a quarterback in the NFL. Does that mean anything? I have no idea.

38:05 Steve Well, I think I think what you're yeah, I agree with you and but he feels most comfortable when he's on the move And I think that's when you see that look in his eye like oh I can do this Like so I think they need to get that into the playbook all the time. Yes so that when he's struggling you still got to keep him in the pocket and be able to make that pass down the field and 15, 20 yards. But when that's not working, they have to have a plan B. And I saw a plan B for the first time this week. So I'm hoping that between the two of them, that Kenny will start to feel more comfortable in the pocket and also still be able to have that on the run pass slash, hey, I can run for 15 yards. Let's take it.

38:46 Chris DG's got a lot to say tonight. He's saying, I'm not going to put this comment up because he's got another one. But he says, you know, we can't win every game unless our offense shows up. And we won't win against any team that can put up 35 points. Not right now. You're right. And he's just saying that Kenny had him nervous in the beginning of the game. Oh, yeah, for sure.

39:03 Steve Everybody felt that way.

39:04 Chris Mike Mallory chimes in. Hey, Mike, Canada needs to go and take Tomlin with him.

39:09 Steve Mike, you got that a little backward. Yeah.

39:12 Chris Yeah.

39:12 Steve Tomlin needs to go. And then Canada needs to go with him because that's the progression of things. Yeah. Canada is not going unless Tomlin's going. Yeah.

39:20 Chris Do you think Tomlin needs to go? Is his time up? No. No.

39:24 Steve No, I think I think Tomlin what Tomlin needs to do is he just needs to be honest with us by saying I would love my defense Our defense is gonna win games instead. He just says we're not in it How does he say we're not we're not in it to to gain more confidence. We just want to win Yeah, like come on. Yeah, Mike like What we want you to say is our defense is our team. Our team is number one defense. And who cares what the offense does?

39:55 Chris Well, I mean, not who cares, but I get your point.

39:57 Steve But that's what basically what he's saying. I mean, if he doesn't care that the offense is going to get 400 yards or is never going to pass for more than 250 yards or when they do, that means they're coming from behind, and the defense has failed, and when the defense fails, we lose. He just should just say that.

40:14 Chris Well, I think he does, but he just says it in Tomlin-isms, which get frustrating.

40:19 Steve And the reality is, if it would work against good teams, I would be 100% behind that. I have yet to see that work against good teams. teams. But now that's that's predicated on the Steelers offense last year that couldn't get a quick score. So maybe it will work better if we can get a quick score and then, you know, go back to the, you know, the Tomlin isms of we'll just hold on to the ball for five or six minutes every time we have it. And hopefully we'll get a field goal or two.

40:47 Chris So this game coming up this week, going into Houston, this is a classic technical director trap game. I am calling this a loss. I think the Steelers… Yeah, you don't feel good? Well, I don't feel good because they went into Vegas where arguably it was a home game. You saw all the terrible towels.

41:07 Steve Well, most away games are home games for Steelers.

41:10 Chris I know, I know. Most of them are. But this one more so than any I've seen in a while. I just feel like, first of all, they played very well against a disorganized Raiders franchise. Jimmy G made a lot of mistakes. The coaching on their end of the field was bad. It was subpar. They did just enough to win this game. Their defense stepped up when they had to. Their offense scored when they had to. Now they're going into Houston. Houston just picked up the victory. They got a new stud young quarterback who in my opinion is better than Kenny Pickett already and was when he came out of college. I don't think anybody would argue with that because he was the number two pick. So, or the number one pick. Yeah. And, and he actually had a good game last game. Yeah. And he's gelling with some rookie receivers. Right. Right. And, and this is a team that is in a rebuilding situation and they've put everything behind this quarterback. It's a trap game for any team. I think the Steelers are going to lose this game and fall to two and two because this win they had last night was not a momentum win. It's not a win that you pick up momentum on and take it to the next town.

42:23 Steve Well, it's hard to get momentum when you're flying in from Vegas and you have to stop in Kansas City. Right. It's hard to gain any momentum from that. Yeah. Unless, of course, Taylor Swift was there. Then, you know, maybe they were pretty happy.

42:36 Chris Yeah. You lost out on that, dude. Your name's not Travis Kelsey. So sorry. There's no comment.

42:42 Steve I happen to think you're better looking than Travis Kelsey, but I have a whole thing with the Taylor Swift thing and we can get into this, but I think you're right. I think we need to keep, keep our minds on the Texans for now.

42:53 Chris Yeah. Okay. Well, Texans, Taylor, both start with T you know. All right. All right.

42:59 Steve So I'm looking at the Texans. They lost to the Ravens pretty handily week one and they lost to, they gave up 31 points to the Colts. I actually don't think the Colts are that good. And then they put up a 37 bomb against the Jaguars. I think the Jaguars defense is horrible. It seems to be. But I'm intrigued that they kept the Jaguars to 17 points. Yeah. I don't really know who this Texans team is. And that's scary, I think, for me, because if you can say, oh, well, they just got lucky. I don't think they got lucky against the Jaguars. I think they figured something out. I think they won. So I think if we can smash them in the face and if we can get their rookie quarterback to throw an interception, who hasn't thrown one yet, by the way. Yeah, OK. I think that will rattle them and I think that will yield a victory for your Steelers Okay, so you're calling a win. I think so. I think I think there are defenses once again I'm gonna use Tomlin isms here. I think our defense is good enough to win this game And I think our offense isn't bad enough to lose this. That's nice.

44:02 Chris Thanks Mike appreciate it DG says Susan could tear Taylor a new one. I think Susan has torn you a few new ones. Oh Are you kidding me?

44:13 Steve I mean, come on, the stories I can tell.

44:15 Chris Here's what we're going to do. Here's our show on Radio PGH. It's going to be called The Marriage Show. That'd be good. That'd be really good. That's good. By the way, if you don't want to watch the show or you're in your car on a Monday night, you can always go to radiopgh.com and just stream it in your car. We're live at the same time. Todd Ross disagrees with me and he agrees with you. Sorry, Chris, I disagree. The Steelers win 24 to 13. Hey, look, Todd, I hope they win.

44:43 Steve Yeah, I hope they win. I think that's a pretty good score, Todd. It's not a bad one. It's not a bad one.

44:49 Steve I think they're going to be more field goals. So I think there'll be three field goals, nine, say, two touchdowns, whatever that is. That is 23. There you go. Good for you.

44:57 Chris There you go. That was quick. And Mike says, I think Watt will rattle him no matter what. If the Steelers lose, it's not going to be a blowout. I think they lose 16 to 13.

45:10 Steve Yeah. I have a feeling it's going to be a low scoring. No, no. I think, I think honestly, if, if, if Houston's going to win, they're going to score like 28, they're going to, they're 31 something, something bad.

45:23 Chris I think our defense is good enough to keep this team from scoring a lot. My question, I'm thinking like, like, like David said,

45:32 Steve Pick six, you know something like that scooping scooping tip touchdown for Houston things like that Like it just the wheels fall off the rice and then Kenny, you know tries to throw too much in the comeback And it just doesn't work out. That's actually how I think Houston ended up beating Jacksonville And plus they've got some pretty good special teams too. So something we'll have to guard against.

45:56 Chris All right. So if we're going to get a little H J in, in a little bit, we got to do our picks. So every week, every week we pick three games. We pick the Thursday night, the Sunday night, and then a pick them game on Sunday during the day. Uh, our NFL picks last week. Um, it was a little ridiculous on my standpoint, but I do this. I picked the giants. Steven Mark had the Niners. They won. All three of us picked the Raiders, though. We had no faith in the Steelers, and we know the Steelers won.

46:23 Steve Well, I only went with what I picked at the beginning of the season. I actually did want to take the Steelers.

46:28 Chris You like to be consistent. I get it. I'm consistent. And then we did the Chargers and the Vikings. Mark took the Chargers.

46:36 Steve Uh, you and I took the Vikings and that ends up against my heart because I really wanted to charge us to win that game.

46:41 Chris Yep. Yep. And, uh, I actually did too, but that was out of, you know, romantic feelings for who knew that, uh, what Vikings had like six turnovers.

46:51 Steve Yeah.

46:51 Chris Yeah. Poor, poor Kirk cousins. I'm telling you, he'll be pitching for the jets soon. You mean? Yeah. he might, and then he'll, then he'll die. And then he'll die. And then that's what, look, have I ever been wrong? Not yet. Not yet. Uh, so our NFL picks right now, Marcus three and three, Steve is three and three and I am two and four. We're usually better than this, but we are beginning of the seasons hurt. It's early. It's early. So we got this week, this week, we got the lions and the Packers. Well, I'll tell you what, I was impressed with that Packers comeback win. That was impressive. I did not think that was going to happen. I think Jordan loves a winner.

47:30 Steve I don't think he's a great quarterback, but he wins games.

47:32 Chris Well, he's a developing quarterback who wins games right now.

47:36 Steve I think the Lions can score more points on the Packers than they've shown. They're a really good team. If they get David Montgomery back, but then again, Aaron Jones is out for the Packers.

47:45 Chris I'm going with the Packers. I'm going with the Packers. Okay. Steve's going with the Packers. Mark went with the Lions and I'm going with the Lions. Okay. Next game. This one should be really easy. Unfortunately, it's Sunday night, so we have to pick it. Chiefs at the Jets where quarterbacks go to die.

48:02 Steve Well, and the bonus pick is, will Taylor Swift be there, right?

48:05 Steve Yes.

48:06 Steve Yes.

48:07 Chris So you can get a bonus point on this one.

48:18 Steve I gotta go with the chiefs here. Of course. Have you seen Zach Wilson play? He is. Yes. I mean, fortunately, dealers, you think the Steelers have quarterback problems? Yeah. The Jets are like Zach Wilson. Another horrible.

48:32 Chris I am actually mildly convinced that I really could play quarterback better than Zach Wilson. I'm not kidding. He sure does make it look that way. Oh my God. He makes it look easy for a 53 year old guy. Yeah. All right. So you got the chiefs and so do I. I always like to go opposite of you and Mark just because I'm trying to move up the standings. I don't blame you. But I'd have to be an idiot.

48:52 Steve I mean, it is possible that, you know, lightning can strike somebody dead.

48:56 Chris Well, in which case, by the way, even I'm going to go with no Taylor Swift, no Taylor Swift, Taylor, although she does have an apartment in New York. Chris says yes, because I say yes, because that. That Travis Kelsey thing, like this, you know what this is? This is a media made romance. Oh, absolutely.

49:13 Steve She's going to follow it all the way out. She's in the theaters, you know, October 13th. She's going to be right out there until her movie comes out. You got it. Yeah, absolutely. Uh, Sharice, you're right on with that prime video on Thursday night. That's how you have to watch Thursday night games. Watch it on prime video. Incredible. Incredible. I love it.

49:33 Chris Yeah. Yeah. It is good. I like it too. So, uh, last game dolphins at the bills. Mark took the bills. This is the big one. Do the dolphins drop 70 points on the bills?

49:46 Steve I mean, they could score 70 points on anybody. They did it without Jalen Waddle for God's sake.

49:51 Chris I know it's amazing. So I'm taking the bills you're taking.

49:55 Steve I mean, I took the bill in Buffalo. I mean, I like the bills this year. I think, I think they're going to make a comeback. And I don't think, I think the dolphins are for real, but I think they're really inconsistent.

50:05 Chris I'm going with the dolphins. I think this is their year to challenge the chiefs. I think that'll be a really good game.

50:10 Steve When is that? Sunday. One o'clock. My guess it'll be up against the Steelers game. So that will suck.

50:17 Chris Yeah Okay, that was our next game was Dolphins at the Bills And now what I want to do is I well, we got a comment coming in here. Maybe somebody want to get a Grab says Lions Chiefs. No Swiftie present and bills. There you go. Thank you Lions Chiefs and bills Okay, so hey look Crazy. Preseason hockey has started. Are you like sweating? Are your palms sweaty?

50:45 Steve Well, I mean, preseason hockey is actually even worse than NFL preseason.

50:51 Chris Well, I can think of nothing worse than NFL hockey.

50:54 Steve Could you imagine that? That would be, that would be an incredible sport.

50:56 Chris Give them all sticks and let them chase each other. Oh my God. What an incredible sport that would be. I think we just came up with the new pickleball. NFL hockey.

51:04 Steve The new pickleball.

51:05 Chris Yeah. Yeah.

51:06 Steve The national football hockey league. Yeah, I did get a little bit of shakes, but then then then I saw the lineup and I saw like nobody I recognized right like drew o'connor was like top line, um winger with uh, Alex knee lander, which nobody knows and i'm like Oh, yeah, this is definitely pre-season. But hey, they're the boys are back. They're playing actually tomorrow night again in detroit They did a back-to-back against CBJ, Columbus Blue Jackets. They won the one at home, and they lost the one in overtime in Columbus.

51:39 Steve It doesn't matter.

51:41 Steve It doesn't matter. The question is, who got hurt? Poor Mark Friedman, dude. Mark Friedman, like, pulled something in his leg. He, like, hobbled off the ice. He came back, and everybody was like, oh my God, this guy's amazing. And then immediately took a puck right in the face. This is hockey. This guy is no longer amazing. But Mark Friedman's like our seventh or eighth defenseman, but he actually is a player, not like somebody who already got cut. So you don't really want to see a guy like that getting hurt, but it was just hilarious. I'm sure he thought so. David now now I can't pronounce the guys the bloom quiz was the guy they so this they play basically Four goalies now and they're guys that you've never heard of but the gel I can't spay it needle nose Ned That's what I'm gonna call him because all right because I can't I can't say the gel Javik.

52:37 Chris Yeah, that was probably pretty close It's pretty close.

52:40 Steve Yeah, it sounded good Nadelle Joe Vic or something like that. He's going to be our backup most likely. He looked pretty good.

52:49 Chris I have some Russian ancestors. I can't even say it now.

52:53 Steve I know it's so hard. I actually, when I was doing, because I'm going to be doing a preseason spectacular here in the next week, I actually wrote it out phonetically because it just doesn't make any sense.

53:06 Chris That's the engineer. Did you spreadsheet his name, Steve?

53:10 Steve I didn't actually create a spreadsheet yet. OK, I'm still gathering my thoughts. The spreadsheet will come when I need statistics. So, yeah, the goalies actually didn't look what in the preseason. You just want the goalie to look like he can stop a puck. Right. These guys can stop box. So that's good. Yeah. Uh, bloom quest is the other guy. He'll be down in Wilkes-Barre. Uh, he's probably going to start for them down there. He looked really good. Um, they also have a huge guy, Magnus held hell Buck or something like that, dude. He's like perfect. He's like six foot six. And he has like half of his body is like above the net.

53:47 Chris And his name is Magnus Magnus. Yeah. We got to bring him up here. We got to have the Magnus report. Oh my God. Yeah. Magnus had 17 wings, four cheeseburgers and five iron cities before the game tonight. And he only let in one goal on 783 shots.

54:07 Steve But he's a whole Magnus Magnus Elbrick definitely from Sweden obviously with the name like Magnus so yeah, so You're not gonna see jarring goal. I mean, why would they do that? No, no, he'll probably play one or one or two periods of maybe the last two or three Preseason. Yeah, pull his groin. Yeah. Oh Well, they got backups now, so I'm okay with that.

54:33 Chris I think, I think they got a guy that fills the whole frigging net.

54:36 Steve Well, he, he'll be our third goalie. He probably won't, it'll probably be Nadeljevic. He'll probably be the, be the guy, by the way, Nadeljevic is from Parma, Ohio. Oh, how about that?

54:50 Steve Yeah. It's like, yeah.

54:51 Chris What? Pizza Parma. Yeah. Weird.

54:54 Steve So, uh, no, I'm, I'm thrilled. Uh, the pens are back. Uh, the big thing is, you know, they made some renovations at the rink. Can't wait to see them. Scoreboard. Right. The hanging scoreboard. It's supposedly this huge scoreboard. What happens if that falls?

55:08 Steve Uh, well, I mean, I know people, that's called sudden death. Did you see the movie?

55:13 Chris I was in that movie. There you go. I was an extra in that movie. Yes.

55:16 Steve Whatever happened in the movie would happen in real life.

55:19 Chris I hung out with, what's his face, Jean-Claude Van Damme. I hung out with him at the Rivers Club in Pittsburgh. He was working out and he had a locker next to mine and I'm not afraid to admit that I was in the shower with him.

55:32 Steve Well, I'm not afraid.

55:33 Chris I can't believe I said that. I'm glad. You know what? Not with him. Let's just rephrase that. This is what we talk about on the sports board.

55:40 Steve That's true. Having showers with Sean Claude Van Dam in a very mutual, exclusive kind of way.

55:46 Chris I just totally, totally screwed myself.

55:48 Steve No, not with him.

55:48 Chris Hey, it's your birthday. You can screw whatever you want on your birthday. No, what I meant was it was a common shower and he was in the shower and I happened to walk in and I was like there, cause I saw him working out and right, I should probably shut up.

56:01 Steve Yeah, you should you should just you should have stopped with I saw him in the shower. Yeah, that's what I'm saying Yeah, thank you mark. I appreciate that. That's what we need Yeah So anyway, if the scoreboard falls, we've all seen it in the movie so we don't need to we don't need to do that again They also have like this exclusive club, which I'll never get into. Unfortunately, you should your hockey Jesus. Well, you know, maybe I can pull some strings and maybe I can get in there at least for a preseason.

56:27 Chris Why would they not want a hockey Jesus in the exclusive? Look, they know, they know in charge of the exclusive club.

56:34 Steve They, they know that I'm going to be doing this for 82 games. So I should, I should get a little bit of a perk at the upfront.

56:42 Chris I agree.

56:43 Steve I agree. Maybe, maybe a back scenes view of it. Yeah.

56:48 Chris He says he just peed his pants. Yeah. Well, that's what happens on the porch.

56:52 Steve Sometimes you pee your pants. That's exactly right.

56:55 Chris So, all right. All right. All right. He's back. Yes. I want to remind everybody. that Hockey Jesus will be preaching on the podcast after every regular season Pens game. Absolutely.
